DUE TO GEORGE MUNNS BEING DIAGNOSED WITH COLON CANCER IN THE SPRING OF 2025, IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT I HAVE HAD TO MAKE THE HEART WRENCHING DECISION TO STOP REARING OUR CHRISTMAS GEESE..!!!
Producing our famous oven-ready geese was without a doubt the most enjoyable and satisfying part of our business, having started with a handful of goslings back in the late 1990’s numbers peaked in the last year of production at around 1200 birds.
We Have been proud to rear some of the finest oven-ready geese, anywhere in the uk. We were proud also to be the only commercial goose producer in Cambridgeshire. We have been inundated with good wishes from all our regular customers and I have shed so many tears over this decision. I wish all our customers a very happy Christmas and a great new year when it arrives.

Goose Fat
Alongside the Geese, there is a strong demand for our free range Goose Fat, which is becoming very popular with the public thanks to many celebrity chefs using it on their television shows. With its relatively low proportion of saturated fatty acids when compared to other animal fats such as dripping or lard, it’s not hard to see why many more people are turning to this product.
Munns Goose fat is sold in 150 gram jars and is available most of the year.
